Traditional Greek Belt Buckle
This belt buckle is a piece of jewelry of Greek Women Traditional Costumes. Women used it in order to connect the two ends of their belts, not only of their traditional Greek costume but also in ordinary daily use. Belt buckles were made by the use of jewelry technics. They are dating between the 16th and the 19th century. In Greek tradition, silver belt buckles were some of the main parts of the bride’s dowry.This antique belt buckle is metal decorated by traditional designs and patterns.
It is a great belt buckle either to wear or to decorate your house with. It is in a good antique condition, though, as you can see in the photos, the belt buckle is a little broken on the sides. Please, pay attention to the MEASURES given bellow:
